Short CV

Magnisalis I. received the BSc degree in mathematics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and the MSc degree in business systems analysis and design from the CITY University of London. He is currently a PhD student at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. His research interests include adaptive and intelligent systems for collaborative learning. He is a software engineer working since 1999 and has cooperated with various companies in Greece and Worldwide (e.g. INTRACOM, ERICSSON, SAP). He has experience in a variety of IT systems (CRM, Document Management, HR, Sales Operations, E-learning, Web-conference etc.). For the last 10 years, he has been working at the Greek Lottery Industry; he currently works as Head of Sales Support and Operations at OPAP S.A. (north Greece).  His interests currently focus on deploying collaborative games in diverse environments (in-class, at-work, web-based, gesture-based, on mobile devices, for people with special needs).
